BGSVS, a prestigious, institution dedicated to academic excellence and holistic development of children organised a Hand Writing Competition and Pencil Exchange Programme in association with Apsara, a renowned stationery brand known for its commitment to education and creativity. The event aimed to promote the art of beautiful handwriting and encourage sustainable practices through pencil exchange. The Handwriting Competition was the centerpiece of the event. Students of Steps 1 and 2 enthusiastically participated, showcasing their exceptional writing skills. The competition was divided into categories, ensuring fairness and competitiveness among participants.

On the occasion of Hindi Divas on Thursday, 14 September 2023, the pre-primary wing has organised the Hindi Kavita competition ’Kavyanjali’ for our tiny tots to instill the importance of the language.

On International Literacy Day, our Pre-Primary students celebrated the importance of literacy in the early years. The day began with a special circle time where teachers and students shared stories, rhymes, and songs to emphasize the joy of reading and learning. Throughout the day, various activities were organized to promote literacy skills. Students engaged in DEAR Time and interactive storytelling sessions. Overall, International Literacy Day was a fun-filled experience that instilled the importance of reading and literacy in our young learners.

BGSVS organised a special Janmashtami assembly on 6 September 2023 with great joy. Students of Step 1 conducted the special assembly to seek the blessings of Lord Krishna. The assembly started with a prayer followed by a recitation of slokas. The musical dramatization of Krishna’s life & teachings was beautifully showcased. The dances were very vibrant and colourful. The audience were enthralled by the well coordinated performance.

श्रीकृष्ण जन्माष्टमी के पावन अवसर पर हमारे विद्यालय बी. जी.एस विज्ञातम् में छात्रों को श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता की शिक्षाओं से अवगत कराने हेतु दिनांक 04.09.2023 एवं 06.09.2023 कोअनेक रोचक गतिविधियां हुई, जिनमें प्रमुख रूप से 'गीता वाणी' नामक श्लोक प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया जिसके अंतर्गत छात्रों ने गीता के श्लोकों को बड़ी मधुरता से गाकर सुनाया और साथ ही सभी कक्षाओं में भी अध्यापिकाओं ने पीपीटी के माध्यम से बच्चों को गीता के जीवनोपयोगी मूल्यों से अवगत कराने का प्रयास किया।
