Mom's Kitchen Activity Tuesday, 25 Jul'23

The students of BGSVS participated in Mom's Kitchen Activity on Tuesday, 25 Jul'23. Students were introduced to the different types of pulses and spices used in our daily life which are easily found in the Kitchen. The event's main objective was promoting healthy eating habits among the students. The event provided a platform for children to visually identify the different key ingredients of the Indian cuisine. The initiative played a crucial role in shaping the health and well-being of students and their families.

    Creatika- Colouring Competition Friday 21July'23

    " Colors are brighter when the mind is open"

    Colouring competition" Creatika" was conducted in the Pre-Primary wing. Kids exhibit their creativity by the given pictures.

    Children participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.

      Students of Step IX presented an assembly on the occasion of Nelson Mandela International Day -18 July '23 Students enacted the racial discrimination policy - Apartheid followed by the white South African government and the struggle of Nelson Mandela to end this discrimination.

        Malala Day on Wednesday, 12 July 23

        BGSVS celebrated the spirit of education and activism by conducting a special assembly on Malala Day on Wednesday, 12 July 23. Students of class VII gathered to honor Malala Yousafzai's advocacy for girls' education and empowerment. The students presented her thoughts through speech and dialectic messages of courage and determination which resonated in the form of a song. The assembly inspired the students to strive for knowledge and equality.

          Guru Purnima Monday, 3 July’23

          “A guru is not someone who holds a torch for you. They are the torch themselves.”

          BGSVS celebrated Guru Purnima on 3rd July 2023, to honour and express gratitude towards the all spiritual mentors who impart knowledge and guidance to enlighten the path in the journey of life. Guru Purnima is celebrated on the full moon day in the Hindu month of Chakdaha. Guru Purnima is also known as Vyas Purnima. The assembly began with offering prayers to His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Padmabhushana Dr. Balagangadharanatha Mahaswamiji and His Holiness Jagadguru Sri Sri Sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha Mahaswamiji. It was followed by the students expressing their gratitude towards their gurus through shlokas and music. The assembly concluded with words of wisdom by the Principal.
