On Monday, 22 July'24 the BGS Vijnatham school hosted an engaging and educational event centered around Teaching-Learning Materials (TLM) activities and the much-anticipated "Jaduai Pitara" (Magic Box) program. This event aimed to enhance students' learning experiences through interactive and creative methods.

गुरु पूर्णिमा ग्रेटर नोएडा के प्रतिष्ठित विद्यालय बीजीएस विज्ञातम् विद्यालय में १९ जुलाई २०२४ को गुरु पूर्णिमा का पर्व बड़े ही हर्षोल्लास से मनाया गया । इस अवसर पर विद्यालय में छात्रों द्वारा एक विशेष सभा का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें छात्र छात्राओं द्वारा अनेक मनोरंजक सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम प्रस्तुत किए गए। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ दीप प्रज्वलित कर स्वागत गीत "आए स्वागत है महोदय,हृदय की श्रद्धा है समर्पित" से किया गया इसी क्रम में बालिकाओं ने "गुरुर ब्रह्मा गुरुर विष्णु" श्लोक पर एवं "शिव तांडव स्तोत्र" पर सुन्दर नृत्य प्रस्तुत किया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में गुरु महिमा पर आधारित सुन्दर नाट्य प्रस्तुति की गयी जिसमें गुरु सेवा से ज्ञान प्राप्ति का सुंदर संदेश दिया गया । इस अवसर पर विद्यालय की प्रधानाचार्या श्रीमती मीनाक्षी खुराना ने कार्यक्रम की प्रशंसा करते हुए सभी को गुरु पूर्णिमा पर्व की शुभकामनाएं दी और छात्रों का उत्साहवर्धन किया।

The Foundational Stage at BGS Vijnatham School celebrated Mango Mania with great enthusiasm on Friday,19 July'24. This event aimed to introduce young students to the joy and variety of mangoes through a series of fun and interactive activities.

Children brought different varieties of mangoes from home, creating a colorful and diverse display. This allowed the students to learn about the various types of mangoes, their sizes, shapes, and flavors.

Students and their parents prepared a variety of delicious mango-based dishes. A special treat of mango chaat and mango juice was organized for the children. The students relished the sweet and tangy flavors, enjoying every bite and sip.
This activity not only delighted their taste buds but also provided a refreshing break during the celebrations.

On Saturday,13 July, 2024, BGS Vijnatham School organized an Educational trip to the National Science Centre, Delhi for students of steps IV to VIII. The visit aroused curiosity and provided a thrilling and motivating experience. Students toured galleries like Water - the Elixir of Life, Hall of Nuclear Power, Human Biology, Prehistoric Life, and Fun Science, among others. Highlights included the Magic Tap, Tesla Coils, and marine aquariums. The Fun Science Gallery captivated students with hands-on exhibits, quizzes, and games. The trip successfully imparted scientific knowledge in an engaging way, leaving lasting memories.

Planting trees today is an investment in a greener, healthier tomorrow

Van Mahotsav is celebrated for promoting afforestation and environment conservation for ecological balance. As we celebrate Van Mahotsav, let's cherish and protect our natural heritage ensuring our land's lush green thrives.

We believe that little steps can lead to a big change and together, we can pave the way for a sustainable future. With these thoughts of sustainable development BGS Vijnatham School,  organised Van Mahotsav in and around the school premises. A plethora of environment-based activities like tree plantation, awareness rally in nearby areas, sharing planters, drawing & coloring activities, etc. evoked the sense of care and concern towards the environment.

Van Mahotsava was celebrated with great zeal in the pre-primary wing on Monday 1 July 2024. The children were made to understand the importance of planting by sowing seeds in the garden. They also learnt the things needed by the plants to grow and how to take care of the plants.

We have also organized a colouring competition- “My Green Pallet” on Friday; 5 July 2024 which was based on the theme of Vanmahotsava in which students used different shades of green in the given scenery.
