Nothing can dim the light that shines from within Dussehra, also known as Vijay-Dashami is a festival which marks the victory of good over evil, victory of knowledge over ignorance, victory of light over darkness.
Grasping the essence from the above quote, the enthusiastic students of Step 1-8 and teachers,  took the illumination of the festival of Dussehra to a next level by participating in various activities throughout the week. They proved that “nothing can ever stop the flight of a strong willpower”. Children of Step - 1 participated in multiple activities like Show and Tell of their artwork where they proficiently portrayed effigies of Ravana, Kumbhkaran, and Meghnad. A colourful dance performance was presented by the Students of Step – 2 under the guidance of the dance teacher, on the video of “Luv Kush Ram Katha”. The performance was wonderfully coordinated and presented. Learners of Step-3 & 4 showed their prowess in role playing characters from Ramayana. They dressed up like  Sita Mata, Jatayu and Ravana and even said some beautiful lines which made the characters lively and wonderful. Students of Step-5 mesmerised everyone by singing the melodious bhajan “Shri Ramchandra Kripalu Vajmann” under the guidance of their music teacher. Our senior students of Step 6-8 participated in an online quiz competition based on the birth and life journey of Lord Rama in a combined assembly. Their knowledge on the holy epic astonished one and all.
The brilliance of the inner lights of the students brightened up our festive spirits.
