Dussehra

Dusshera was a fun filled festival at BGSVS. Students from Step I onwards participated in the quiz based on Ramayana. An animated movie based on Ramayana was shown to the students.

    Capacity Building Programme for Educators

    The session led by Mr. Rajshekhar and GP Capt. P Aanand Naidu laid emphasis on understadning the perils of excessive video gaming, as during the lockdown it has been the key factor engaging children of young age. The web stores a ahronolical track of activites of any user. A child unknowinly becomes a part of an unfortunate event. The session also gave an insight on how use of electronics and social media is hampering the social and mental development of child. The session concluded with some interestings ways how parental controls can help keep a track of child's web browsing and prevent them from any negative impact.

      Animal Welfare day

      A PPT was shown to the students educating them about the World Animal Welfare Day. A video was also shown to the students showcasing how the animals are being affected by the pollution and other things.

        2nd October is observed as the birth anniversary of the 'Father of the Nation' and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri, 2nd Prime Minister of independent India. Invoking the spirit of honesty, courage, truthfulness, patriotism and togetherness, BGS Vijnatham celebrated the day with great zeal and enthusiasm. Students across all classes participated in the celebrations. They spoke about the life of Gandhiji and Shashtriji, sang favourite bhajans, discussed about the struggle Gandhiji had during his life span etc. Students were educated about the Dandi March, Satyagraha, Quit India Moment to inculcate the spirit of patriotism  in students. Students even discussed about the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan initiated by our Prime Minister on 2nd October 2014. We pledged to keep our surroundings and country clean.
