A teacher's workshop on Implementation of Value Education was conducted by Ms Ravinder Singh  on, 24 May 2019 . During the session two short movies were shown on importance of education and say no bullying respectively. Based on the movies certain questions were addressed followed by discussions and presentation of individuals perspective on the same. It was an highly interactive and brainstorming session.
    A training session on "Educational Assessment" was conducted by Mrs Minakshi Khurana, Principal BGS Vijnatham School on Thursday 23 May 2019. It gave perspectives that every educator should look at while setting question paper for assessment. The purpose of the workshop was to offer some advise to educators on how to set fair examination papers. Overall it was was quite an enriching and informative session.
      A training session on "Art and Craft" by Ms Jyoti Bhati was conducted on 23 May 2019 . Educators  were given hands on opportunity to learn sketching and making 3d flowers by paper cutting. The session helped educators to develop artistic skills that will help them to make better teaching aids. Overall it was an interesting and engaging session.
        A training session on Tata Class Edge was conducted on Wednesday, 22 May 2019 in school premises. The session was well attended by the educators who learnt and gained information about using Tata Class Edge as a supplement to teaching resources. The session detailed out various steps to use Tata Class Edge and also elaborated on different contents organised class wise under different headings. The educators clarified their queries and concerns to have a better understanding. Overall, it was quite an enriching and informative session.


          Capacity Building Programme for Educators
          Effective Usage was of teaching resources   

          A training session on 'Effective Usage was of teaching resources'' was conducted on Wednesday 22 May 2019 in school premises.The first half of the session was conducted by Minakshi Khurana Principal BGS Vijnatham school wherein she explained about effective  integration of art into the academic lessons in order to improve academic and social emotional outcomes such as creativity, critical thinking problem solving and collaboration skills. The second half of  session was taken up by the Preeti Sharma, Librarian, BGS Vijnatham School, wherein she gave hand holding training on the contents and optimum use of World Book online, and smart skill kit as a supplement to teaching learning process.
          Overall it was quite an enriching and informative session.
            A session on 'Yoga and fitness' was conducted by Mrs Minakshi Khurana, Principal, BGS Vijnatham School on Wednesday, 22 May 2019 for the educators. The session started by chanting OM followed by simple  warm-up head to toe exercises. The session was a small yet key step by BGS Vijnatham School to lead the educators towards reaching one's goal while energizing and relieving the stress. Through this session, various yoga exercises were practiced so that everyone could understand it's importance and devote few minutes everyday to yoga to remain physically and mentally agile. Overall it was a wonderful session and everyone thoroughly enjoyed being a part of it.


              Capacity Building Programme for Educators
              Aunthenticity for Educators   

              A workshop on "Authenticity for the teachers" was conducted on 21 May 2019 by Ms Swati Paladhi . The workshop started with activities which witnessed enthusiastic participation by the teachers. The session  reiterated the fact that every human shares a connection and a state of equilibrium can be achieved through awareness, accountability and pro-activity. Overall it was very interactive, informative and fruitful session.


                Handwriting Competition   

                BGS Vinatham School, Greater Noida West organised an Intra-school Handwriting competition on Thursday, 16 May 2019. The students participation in the competition was overwhelming. The purpose of the competition was to promote of spirit of competitiveness among the students.


                  Magical Mom: Mother's Day
                  Special Assembly   

                   'God could not be everywhere, so he created  mothers'.

                  A special assembly on Mothers' Day was celebrated in school premises on Friday, 10th May 2019. The assembly  started with a small speech highlighting the importance of Mothers' role followed by poem recitation. The students expressed their feelings and gratitude towards their mothers by reciting beautiful poems, a song, 'tu kitni achchi hai..' and instrumental performance ( keyboard) on the song, "Mari pyaari ammi..". Further, there were other students also who, through extempore speech, shared their feelings and love for their mothers.


                    National Technology Day
                    Special Assembly   

                    A special assembly was conducted on Thursday, 09 May 2019 to mark the National Technology Day celebration. The students were explained the significance of this day in today's era. The students were also told how technology is imbibed in the school's motto. Later, the students were shown videos signifying the role of technology in our lives.
                      A plethora of activities were conducted in the school on Wednesday, 08.05.2019 to mark the Red Cross Day. The students were explained the basic first aid that should should be given when someone is injured. 


                        Rabindra Jayanti
                        Special Assembly   

                        A special assembly was conducted on Tuesday, 7 May 2019 to mark the birth anniversary of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore(09.05.2019) . The assembly began with a prayer, followed by insight on Gurudev's life and his work. The students then presented a poem titled " Where the mind is without fear", followed by a mesmerizing group song performance on "ekla chalo re". The day was followed by showing a movie of a very renowned play called, "Kabuli wala" written by Rabindranath Tagore. Overall, it was an enriching assembly well participated by all the students.
                          There is nothing in the world so irresistibly contagious as laughter and good humor
                          A special assembly was conducted on Friday, 3 May 2019 to celebrate the "World Laughter Day". The students of BGS VIJNATHAM SCHOOL appraised this thought as they presented an engaging assembly on "World Laughter Day" recently. The children spoke about the benefits of laughing and remaining happy, did yoga and fun exercises and later it was followed by reading out the humorous stories by teachers to the children followed by a question answer session.


                            International Worker's Day
                            Special Assembly   

                            A special assembly was conducted to celebrate “International Worker’s Day” to pay tribute and honour to the workers who contribute towards the betterment of an organization and society. The purpose of the assembly was to enlighten the students to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of the support staff which helps in the smooth functioning of school on the daily basis.The assembly was conducted by the students . It started with informative speech, followed by the recitation of a small poem describing the different community helpers. At the end students presented handmade Thank you cards to the entire support staff of the school to honour their services.
