BGS Vijnatham School, Greater Noida celebrated its very first ‘two- day’ International Kids Film Festival (IKFF) on Friday, 29th November and Saturday, 30th November 2019 in the school premises. BGS Vijnatham celebrated the magic of films and their power through IKFF, the much awaited film festival among the cine lovers, to help children experience new cultures, life lessons and foster a love for learning that goes beyond classroom. 
The school introduced the young minds of today to a wide catalogue of films through IKFF, by touching on an array of problems and experiences and enabling them to face the real life situations. This grand and spectacular two day festival screened more than 40 award winning international films on various genres for various age groups, ranging from 2 to 14 years. This IKFF successfully immersed various students in the ‘JOY AND MAGIC OF CINEMA’ and celebrated its tenacity by giving a lifetime experience to all.
The IKFF was successful enough to attract more than thousand cinema lovers representing parents, students, youth and families, thereby providing and strengthening a space for cinema lovers to meet, talk, exchange and enjoy the diversity of issues addressed by every film. The eminent dignitaries, Ms. Padma Iyer Kaul, former Civil Servant, Ms Prema Iyer, popularly known as ‘Campus Nani’ and former ‘Lifestyle Coach’ at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies’, and Principals of reputed schools graced the event.
The IKFF was a huge success and has left many movie lovers spell bound with its magical power, the power to educate and inspire.


    Words from the Young Literati...
    Inter-School Oratory Competition   

    BGS Vijnatham School hosted its very first 'Words from Young Literati - Inter School Oratory Competition' on Saturday, 23rd November 2019. The competition was organised for the students of IV - VII. The competition was participated by various reputed schools to showcase their oratory  skills, exchange experience, and enrich creativity and imaginations.
    The competition was judged by eminent jury members, namely, Ms Sriparna Basu Mullick, an expert English Language Trainer (ELT), editor and writer, Ms. Mamta Agarwal, a twenty five years experienced English teacher and an ex-Vice Principal of a reputed school, Ms Richa Bathla,  CEO and Founder of Ed-Infinity-an enterprise, and Ms.Ankita Rahotgi, an experienced writer, editor,  and a literary enthusiast. The jury members enlightened the participants with their motivating address and words of wisdom.
    It was a great learning experience for all the participants.
